Woman Called Witch
Woman Called Witch is a story about a bank robbery gone bad. Add in an unassuming woman who is a cross between a voodoo priestess and the grim reaper, and a man who sees a little too much.
Update: Success! I submitted Woman Called Witch to The Dunesteef Audio Fiction Magazine on Saturday, August 2, 2008. On Tuesday, August 12, I rececived an email that it had been accepted!
They asked me to do a brief bio for the piece, and if I would, to record a little of the background that led up to the story that they can plug into their Podcast. I love the idea! They've only had three other authors do it, but I'm going to give it a shot!
I'm a pretty big fan of Podcasts and have wanted to get into them. This just gives me the catalyst to get started!
Update: Woman Called Witch was actually published as a podcast on Saturday, September 6, 2008, and is now available on the Dunesteef web site! Please take a few minutes to download and listen to it. And remember, you don't need an iPod to listen to podcasts. It's an .mp3 file so it will play on your computer.

Update: It's been over a year since this piece was published so on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 I decided to put it back out on the market.
Update: On Tuesday, March 9, I received word from Niteblade Fantasy and Horror Magazine that they have accepted Woman Called Witch for publication. It will be included in their June 2010 issue.
