Update: On Tuesday, November 1, 2011, I undertook my 6th NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in the 30 days of November.

Update: On Sunday, June 13, 2010. I've been slacking of late. I haven't been writing or submitting much of anything. Time to get back into the swing of things.

Update: On Tuesday, March 30, 2010, I found out that my short story Phlebotomists Anonymous will published in Issue 47 of Dark Fire Fiction. Issue 47 will be published in September 2010.
Update: On Sunday, March 14, 2010, I found out that my six sentence submissions "Growing Pains" had been accepted in Six Sentences Volume 3. That is great news and I'm looking forward to the book publication in April 2010! My selection was announced on Sunday, March 14, 2010 on a video announcing a partial list of authors selected for Six Sentences - Volume 3. My name shows up at 4:45 into the video! Update: On Friday, March 10, 2010, I received my copy of Issue 24 of Delivered. My drabble, Timing, was featured in this issue on page 29. It was delivered from England so it was probably published on March 1, 2010.
Update: On Tuesday, March 9, 2010, Niteblade Fantasy and Horror Magazine accepted my short story Woman Called Witch for publication in their June 2010 issue.
Update: On Tuesday, March 9, 2010, The Daily Flash: 365 Days of Flash Fiction accepted a second story from me! Winds of Hunger for publication. It will be published as the story for March 21st. Look for The Daily Flash to come out around December 2010.
Update: On Sunday, March 7, 2010, Bewildering Stories accepted my short story Kutter for publication. It will be published later in the fall of 2010.
Update: On Sunday, February 28, 2010, Weirdyear accepted my drabble fiction (a story of exactly 100 words) Turn the Water Off for publication. It is scheduled to be published on April 5, 2010.
Update: On Saturday, February 27, 2010, Pow Fast Flash Fiction accepted my flash fiction story Black Magic for publication. It was published later that same day here.
Update: On Saturday, February 13, 2010, I received word from Delivered that my drabble (a story of exactly 100 words) Timing had been accepted for publication and would probably come out in their March Issue.

Update: On Saturday, January 30, 2010, I submitted my flash fiction (in this case, a story of less than 500 words) My Second Life to the 2011 flash anthology Daily Flash: 365 Days of Flash Fiction. Less than an hour later, I received word that my story was accepted and will be published as the story for October 1st. Look for The Daily Flash to come out around December 2010.
Update: On Monday, January 25, 2010, my drabble (a story of exactly 100 words) The Colonists was published by Abandoned Towers. Look for it in the Science Fiction section.

Update: On Thursday, December 31, 2009, I found out that one of my tweet was accepted by Thaumatrope for publication. It will come out on January 4, 2010.

Update: On Thursday, November 26, 2009, (Thanksgiving) my flash fiction Her Face Framed by Flowers was published by Flashes In The Dark.

Update: On Sunday, March 22, 2009, I had my Six Sentences Through the Door published at sixsentences.blogspot.com. This makes 5 I've had published at Six Sentences, plus the forthcoming Six Sentences Volume 2.
Update: On Thursday, March 12, 2009, my flash fiction, Black Magic, was accepted for publication at Clonepod as a podcast. They told me the piece was perfect for them and that I should see it published in about a month.

Update: On Wednesday, February 25, 2009, I received my copy of Issue #13 of The Drabbler. My drabble, Consumption Demon, was one of the drabbles featured in this issue.
Update: On Sunday, February 15, 2009, I finished the first round of editing for The Life of Larry. The Life of Larry is my first novel, and the second one I've gone back to edit. I first completed it on November 26, 2006. The novel now stands at 336 pages and 70,689 words. The first novel I finished editing was A New Witch.
Update: On Thursday, February 12, 2009, I found out that one of my submissions had been accepted in Six Sentences Volume 2. That is great news and I'm looking forward to the book publication in March 2009! Update: On Friday, January 16, 2009, I received word from Bards and Sages Quarterly that they have accepted my drabble a story of exactly 100 words called Bad Magic for publication in their April issue.
Update: On Thursday, January 15, 2009, I received word from The Drabbler that they have accepted my drabble a story of exactly 100 words called Consumption Demon for publication in issue #13.
Update: On Sunday, January 11, 2009, I received word from The Drabblecast that they have accepted my drabble a story of exactly 100 words called Hanging for publication as a podcast in an upcoming episode. Each episode of The Drabblecast usually features a drabble before the main story.

Update: On Wednesday, December 31, 2008, SNM Horror Magazine published All For Jack in their January 2009 issue.

Update: On December 1, 2008, I received word that the Dunesteef Audio Fiction Magazine is going to publish another one of my short stories as a podcast. The story is called (at present) The Ghost of Sadie Worth. They have asked me to change the ending and the name of the ghost, which will then, in turn, change the title of the story. I'm not sure when it will be published, but I'm hoping in January or February of 2009.

Update: On November 1, 2008, SNM Horror Magazine published Phlebotomists Anonymous. They changed the name to Phlebotomists Anon, but the story received 2nd Place for the month of November, out of 41 submissions! Yeah!

Update: On October 15, 2008, the Halloween anthology, And Soon...The Darkness from NVF Magazine is available to order! Go to Turner Maxwell Books to purchase it. Turner Maxwell is a British publisher, so Some notes on purchasing: The price of shipping includes the price for International shipping, so you can order it from the US. Also, you have to have a PayPal account to order. The price is £7.99 plus £2.50 shipping, for a total of £10.49. That comes out to about $20 US. Six books is about the optimum number to maximize shipping. Six books comes out to about $112 US, so about $19 a piece.

Update: September 30, 2008 Pixie Vision has been published by The Abacot Journal.
Update: September 25, 2008 Two things to announce again! First of all, Pixie Vision has been accepted for publication by The Abacot Journal. They will be publishing it in October 2008.
Second, Kutter has also been accepted for publication. It will be forthcoming in the April July 2009 printed issue of NVF Magazine.
Update: September 9th, 2008 Two things to announce! First of all, Woman Called Witch has now been turned into a podcast and is available on the Dunesteef website. It was published on Saturday, September 6, 2008.
Second, I've also been published on Six Sentences on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. This was my third submission and it was much harder to get published here than I thought it would be.
Update: August 21st, 2008 I've been published! It was the fourth story that has been accepted for publication, but the first one to actually be published! I'm so excited!

Even more good news! I've had my third short story accepted for publication! When it rains, it pours! Number Two for Brains has been accepted for publication in the November 2008 issue of The Monsters Next Door!
