Rendezvous
Rendezvous was the second short story I ever completed. Like But What's in a Name, I also sent Rendezvous to Amazing Stories, where it, like But What's in a Name, was rejected on December 3, 1991. I never resubmitted it elsewhere, though I should have. Looking back, I wish I had.
I just recently re-read Rendezvous. I have to say that even now, I like it. It's a piece of speculative fiction about society on another planet in a different time.
