My Symantha
My Symantha is an idea I had waking up from a dream on Saturday, March 21, 2009. In the dream, I saw my daughter, but it didn't look like her, but I knew it was her.
In the story, a man wakes up one morning and discovers that he doesn't recognize his sixteen-year-old daughter, even though she sounds and acts exactly like his daughter would. At first, he thinks it's all a joke or a prank, but as the story evolves, he discovers that something much more sinister is going on.
Update: On Monday, October 12, 2009 My Symantha was accepted for publiction by The Dunesteef Audion Fiction Magazine. The will be turning this story into a podcast.
