My Superpower
My Superpower is a story about a guy whose superpower is x-ray vision. He sees naked people, all the time.
I got the idea from a friend of mine, another writer, named Brian Wittenbrook. He talks about his superpower being that he can find dimes. It got me thinking about it and this is what I came up with.
My hero thinks it's a pretty lame superpower, as superpowers go, until he sees something he just cannot believe.
Update: Success! I submitted My Superpower to The Tiny Globule on Saturday, July 12, 2008. On Thursday, August 21, I rececived an email that it had been accepted! Not only had it been accepted, it was published! That day!
So now, I'm off submitting it to secondary markets. You see, there are some markets that will print reprints. With that in mind, I get to start submitting My Superpower all over again.
