My Horror Haiku
It dawned on me that I have a page of Haiku on my website, but I'm a horror author. I need to write haiku that is all fear and putrid death, not nature and loving seasons. So, this is my new horror haiku page. I am going to try to put something up weekly. I hope you enjoy.
Basically, the rules of horror haiku are:
They are usually about natureA reference to a season (spring, winter, summer, autumn)- There should be some reference to blood or death (this is a suggestion more than a rule)
- It is three lines
- There are five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third (this isn't a hard and fast rule)
- Either the first or the third line is set apart
