My Drabbles

Drabbles are stories that are exactly 100 words in length. I'm not sure of the origin of the idea. It might have been The Drabblecast that started the idea. They usually have a drabble before the feature story. Anyway, I realized that some of my six sentence submissions were sometimes close to 100 words, so I started playing around with some of them.

Below are My Submissions:

Paradise

Paradise is a little different, since it's a drabble of exactly 150 words, instead of the usual 100-word drabble. It was written as a submission for AlienSkin Magazine, but when I finished it, they were temporarily closed to submissions, so I had to wait for the submissions to open again. When they did, I sent it off immediately.

Update: On Saturday, September 26, 2009, AlienSkin Magazine contacted me to tell me they had accepted Paradise for publication in the October/November 2009 issue.

Update: I didn't realize it, but Paradise has been published by AlienSkin Magazine on Thursday, October 1, 2009.
